changedHere's a little development log about the mining mechanic in Underground Security Inc!
addedOne of the tower-defense elements we wanted to include is the ability for players to affect enemy pathing. Players can do this by assigning minions with the mining skill to the rocks around the dungeon in order to clear those rocks. This allows players to expand the dungeon unlocking new spaces to place buildings or to create mazes for enemies to walk through!
changedSometimes certain rocks will spawn with ores of different rarities. Mining these ores will require minions with more mining skills, but will yield resources or other bonuses when mined!
addedFinally, certain buildings and areas are hidden away in the depths of the ground. Clearing out the surrounding area around the dungeon may reveal new buildings that cannot be found in any other way.
