added$1,700 from the Interactive Battlefield MapThis is our next stretch goal, and it's within arm's reach. With it, the battle system gets a major overhaul. A new interactive scroll opens during combat, in the same family as your map, high command, unit, and chronicle scrolls, and shows you the full layout: terrain, unit positions, leadership. As the fight unfolds, the field changes shape in front of you, tracking the state of the war as it shifts.
changed$1,700 from the Interactive Battlefield MapIf you've read Kingdom, you know the feeling we're after. That sweeping bird's-eye view where every army and commander is laid out across the land, and a single glance tells you how the whole war is balanced. That is the language we want our battlefield to speak. Your decisions move the units. The field updates as you act, and the whole battle narrative gains a dimension it doesn't have now.

Hello Commanders,

Under the Heavens funded on Kickstarter in 36 hours! We are now in the last week of the campaign, and one of the most important features of the full game is $1,700 away from being unlocked.

If you've had this on your Wishlist and were waiting to see whether it was real, this is your answer. It is real, it is funded, and what the version of the game you'll play in 2027 actually contains is being decided in the next seven days.

$1,700 from the Interactive Battlefield Map

This is our next stretch goal, and it's within arm's reach. With it, the battle system gets a major overhaul. Two things on the Kickstarter that are not coming back

After the campaign closes, these are gone:

Create Your Own Officer. Backers at this tier design a recruitable officer who enters the shared officer pool. Other players' commanders will recruit yours, fight alongside yours, lose yours. Your officer becomes a permanent part of the world other people play in.

A Legendary In-Game Weapon. A unique in-game item offering +4 to your rolls during duels and personal interventions. Obtainable only through Kickstarter and never added to the standard game.

Once the seven days run out, the door on them closes for good.

Where we are, honestly

We are already 167% funded. We are in the window where the final week decides whether we clear one more stretch goal or three. Kickstarter's "ending soon" surfacing, Steam visibility, and the people you tell about this in the next seven days are what move the number.

If you've been meaning to pledge, this is the week it matters most. If you've pledged already and want to do more, the most useful thing you can do is tell one person who hasn't heard of the game yet. Not a broadcast. One person who would actually care.

BACK ON KICKSTARTER

We can’t be thankful enough for everyone who has backed our campaign.

Let's make the final push together!
