Undead Chronicles changes
I don't really know how to start this without sounding like every other dev post, so I'll just say it plainly: we just crossed 100,000 wishlists, with zero paid marketing, zero preorders, zero hype machine. Just the game, and you.
That number still doesn't feel real to me.
Gameplay Sneak Peek + A Message From the Founder
We ran our first very closed circle test
A small group played the current build. The feedback was honest, sometimes hard, exactly what we needed. Since then almost all of our energy has gone into three things: making the weapons feel right, making the zombies feel right, and tightening the current build until it holds together the way it should. Shooting has to be satisfying. The undead have to feel heavy and wrong. That is the whole game, and we are not rushing it.
What we're still deciding
We're weighing whether the next step is a fully closed beta or something more open. We haven't landed on it yet, and we'd rather get it right than announce something we can't stand behind. If you want to be in the room when that decision happens, join the Discord. That's where it gets decided, and where the closest circle lives.
Who's building this
We're a core team of three. Around us is a small group of ridiculously talented freelancers:
BULLET LIST
A character artist crafting our new zombies
A weapon artist who just delivered a brand new weapon
An animation artist fixing the rough edges on our animations
A 3D artist building the exterior of our bank
A 2D artist creating our new keyart
Every one of them is an incredible addition, and I'm grateful for all of them.
And we have news: a very experienced senior programmer is joining our core team as technical lead. That frees me up to do what I'm actually here for, design, creativity, and the environments. This is a real step up for us.
Also, 1923 and a bank without Tommy Gun? Here is a sneek peak of our new weapon made by our very talented weapon artist.

What we are NOT doing
No Early Access
No Kickstarter
No funding rounds
No preorders
No merch
We want to build this with what we have, and build it well. We're exploring partnerships with publishers, some of which may involve funding, but only if it's the right fit for our vision and the future of this series. We won't take a deal that isn't good for the game.
What we're actually making
A brutal, slow-zombie horror shooter. Serious tone, no jokes, no camp. You're not a trained soldier, you're someone stuck with firearms you barely know how to handle, trying to survive a city that's gone quiet. Every shot counts. Every reload is a risk. The zombies are slow, but that doesn't make them safe.
We're realistic about our scope, and dead serious about what we want this to be.
Honestly? This is a dream. Thank you, all of you, for making it real.
And our Discord.
