Greetings fellow Unbroken,
The 0.9.5.A (1.0 Homerun) update just went live. If you have the game purchased, simply switch to the open beta channel by right clicking the game->properties->Game versiosn & Betas. No password needed, simply select the HomerunOpenBeta channel and it will download automatically. I'm expecting the Open Beta to last 2-4 weeks.
Releasing this a bit early, since I will be in transit today and not sure when I will be back online, hence this will be the safest option to avoid further delays. Originally wanted to release together with the weeklong sale, but this will start automatically later today at 7PM CET. This will be the last chance to grab the game at discount+pre 1.0 price.
I ultimately decided to release it now, but still have new stuff coming to my todo list. Knowing how it is, this will most likely never end, as there will always be something to find that can be improved: so that is why I hope together with your feedback, we can come the conclusion how and when UtA is worthy of 1.0.
The main focus is to see if no existing content is broken and all is functioning as it should. Smaller bugs and issues will most likely be fixed on the fly, so please let me know of any bugs, glitches, annoyances or things that you would like to see improved.
Same goes for the price. Originally the game is planned to go to around 15USD after leaving Early Access. This will also depend on your feedback and impressions. So, for example, if the majority of feedback would indicate 11 or 13USD to be a more fair price with content/quality ratio, then that will settle it. So do please, let me know your thoughts on this one.
Other than that, hope you enjoy the homerun update. It's quite a big one. I'll be dropping the full update notes with 1.0. , but for now here is a brief summary:
-New Levels, like the Grachtenstieg drop, rundown Milton Hotel, or Trenches war memory
-Reworked fist graphics, materials and animations
-New religions and faith systems with their own dependencies/events and consequences
-updated and new settings
-new player pre and post avatar with animations
-A whole lot of new Voice Acting (amazing job by Hell+)
-updated 3rd moon events
-lots of general tweaks , polish and fixes
As mentioned, I still have quite a lot of tasks on my todo list, including treekick fall events (ie in Vonderpark: current ones are pretty barebones), fixing the new preview display of certain settings under visual styles, or fix loading noai voices save setting on game boot (currently setting is a bit wonky and has to be toggled once per boot and should work fine throughout that). So you can expect smaller updates dropiing a bit more frequently now. Thanks for tuning in and looking forward to your impressions and thoughts,
