addedSince founding our company, this is the first time in our lives that we've had real experience running our own business. Our studio is based in Hungary, while we're originally from Germany & Sweden. New laws, tax regulations, language barriers, and general bureaucratic differences created challenges that we didn't fully anticipate. Alongside developing the game, we also had to learn how to properly build and manage a company. That required more time and energy than we initially expected.
addedAnother major factor is the new horse model. With this change, we essentially had to rebuild everything related to the horse system. Planning, animations, 3D models, and programming all had to be adjusted. Every feature connected to the horse had to be reviewed and, in many cases, reworked. This turned out to be a much larger technical task than it may appear from the outside.
addedWe're aware that the current state of the game still feels rough. Our goal is to make the game feel like a complete experience, not like a test or beta build with unfinished or underdeveloped features. Especially with so many new players joining (and there really are a lot of you), we want to make sure the experience reflects our long-term vision!
addedThe original plan was to release Update 0.3.0.0 before the Horse Fest event and excite both new and returning players. But good quality takes time. We don't want to release an update that is "just barely working." We want to deliver something we can fully stand behind.
addedIf you'd like to stay up to date and be the first to hear all the latest news, we highly recommend joining our Discord server , that's where we share updates first!

We know many of you were looking forward to Update 0.3.0.0 releasing in February, and we're truly sorry that we won't be able to meet that timeframe. We also want to take a moment to explain why and give you a bit of insight into what has been happening behind the scenes:

Since founding our company, this is the first time in our lives that we've had real experience running our own business.

Another major factor is the new horse model. With this change, we essentially had to rebuild everything related to the horse system. Planning, animations, 3D models, and programming all had to be adjusted. Every feature connected to the horse had to be reviewed and, in many cases, reworked. This turned out to be a much larger technical task than it may appear from the outside.

On top of that, we are actively listening to your feedback. We read your comments on Steam, Discord, and other platforms. We see the bug reports, we see what frustrates you, and we take it seriously. In the current Steam build, many players experienced multiplayer issues as well as problems with saving and loading various game elements. Because of this, we decided to rework the saving and loading system to create a more stable foundation for the future.

We're aware that the current state of the game still feels rough. Our goal is to make the game feel like a complete experience, not like a test or beta build with unfinished or underdeveloped features. Especially with so many new players joining (and there really are a lot of you), we want to make sure the experience reflects our long-term vision!

After Update 0.3.0.0, we will also restructure our internal workflow as a team. Once everything is in place, we'll share insights with you and show how we're evolving and improving our development structure moving forward. We understand that some of you are frustrated and were really looking forward to this update, and that's completely fair. We always want to be honest with you, and we hope you can understand our decision.

Thank you for your patience, your feedback, and your continued support. We're still working hard, and we want to do this the right way! ❤️
