Mask Quest Levels 1–10 Rework

Level Structure Changes:

  • Most levels now have 7 phases + 1 boss (8 total phases) • Levels 8 and 9 now have 9 phases (2 bosses) • Level 10 now has 11 phases (4 bosses)

Boss Changes:

  • Swapped bosses between Level 1 and Level 5 • BING is now the boss of Level 1 • Juggernaut is now the boss of Level 5 • All Mask bosses now have reduced HP

Mask Boss HP Scaling System

Base HP by Phase:

  • Phases 1–10: 15 HP • Phases 11–15: 20 HP • Phases 16–20: 25 HP • Phases 21–25: 30 HP • Phases 26–30: 35 HP

Formula: 15 base HP + 5 HP per 5-phase group after phase 10

Difficulty Modifiers:

  • Peaceful: -5 HP (minimum 5 HP) • Easy: -5 HP (minimum 5 HP) • Mid: Base HP • Hard: +5 HP • Impossible: +10 HP

Survival Mode

  • Fixed bug where Baby Survival was stuck at phase 20 • Rebalanced Survival modes to improve pacing and allow longer runs • Further Survival adjustments planned for upcoming updates

Phase Display Update

  • Mask Quest now shows “Phase X / Total” • Survival and Endless modes show current phase only • Phase 0 no longer included in total count

  • Adding a proper tutorial • Adding German language support for typing • Fixing additional bugs and improving overall polish
