Updates
There's been two small updates this week
Wednesday's update added Steam cloud saves to the game
Sunday's update implemented achievements into the game. The first three are granted for beating a stage, all the regular stages available and the boss stage.
Sunday's update also included a fix to a bug where the stage 1-5 wouldn't finish properly
Mac and Linux
A good part of the week has been spent looking into the viability of porting the game into Mac and Linux, and unfortunately we have to announce that these ports won't happen until the game leaves Early Access.
While we managed to get working versions of the game for Mac and Linux with only minor bugs, the process of testing two extra platforms would greatly increase the load of work required to release a new patch.
One of the biggest benefits of early access is being able to iterate quickly with constant and fast patches, and considering our limited resources, increasing the amount of work it takes to QA a patch runs counter to that.
Next week
This next week we aim to get Steam Remote Play Together working. While we hope it doesn't take the whole week, anything related to input devices and multiplayer has proved to be more problematic than expected in the past, so it might take even longer than that.
If finished early, the next objectives are to get the UI for the second set of stages done and to start work on the tutorial stage.
