Truth Scrapper changes
IT’S HERE!!! My next game Truth Scrapper is here it’s announced I can talk about it I am FREE.
I’ve been working on this game pretty much since I finished developing In Stars and Time, and I am SO HAPPY to finally be able to share it with all of you. I hope you will enjoy meeting Sosotte, Betz, and Amour, and I’m excited to show you even more about them and the game as development continues! Until release, I’ll be posting regular updates and devlogs, so watch this space (or sign up for my newsletter) (or both)
I know you have some questions. Here are some answers.
Is Truth Scrapper related to your previous game, In Stars and Time?
Nope! Truth Scrapper is a whole new game, in a whole new setting! Of course, as you will discover, they will share many themes, but that’s just because I made it. I’m very grateful for the whole lot of love people have given Siffrin and the gang, and I hope in time you’ll find a spot in your heart for my terrible terrible girls.
Betz uses he/they! Are they a girl?
The three of them are some flavor of genderfluid. They are not necessarily women. But they are Girls. To me
What do you mean by “toxic lesbians”?
Ok so Truth Scrappers will not contain any explicit “adult” content or graphic gore/violence (sorry). However, it IS a game about complicated, messy characters, who do not always make the best choices for themselves and others. They are NOT trying to get a good grade in therapy. I’m not sure therapy even exists where they live
Who is working on this game?
Me (insertdisc5) <3. I made in Stars and Time, Serre, and also many comics. I am the sole full time developer, artist, and writer. I am thankfully also supported by several wonderful partners! With me on this project are sound designers Level Curve, composer Jess Forrest (aka CastleIF), marketing geniuses CONTINUE, and producer Dora Breckinridge, who you may know as the producer of In Stars and Time, and who loves Betz oh-so-much, so you know Betz is gonna go through some shit because I love torturing Dora oh-so-much.
Is it coming to any other platforms?
Not as present! It is currently only planned for PC, and I am a solo, self-published dev, so I’m being mindful about my time and other resources. That’s not to say it’s off the table though.
What languages will Truth Scrapper be in?
I would LOVE to localize Truth Scrapper in a few more languages, but I am also a big yapper and localized words cost money. We will be exploring our options throughout development, but we cannot guarantee anything!
When is Truth Scrapper coming out?
When it’s done babey. (Don’t expect it any time soon)
How can I support the game?
WISHLIST TRUTH SCRAPPER ON STEAM!!! This is by far one of the biggest, easiest things you can do to have an impact on the game’s success and visibility on Steam.
