It’s been just a little over a year since we first announced Truth Scrapper as part of the Six One Indie Showcase. Ever since, I have received messages. Many of them. “ADRIENNE,” they cry, “WE WANNA PLAY THE GAME!!!

addedAnd today I’m happy to announce that the demo will be out… now. You can play it now. Like, immediately. In English, French, or Japanese. With a new trailer. You’re welcome. <3
changedYou may remember that I originally wanted to get the demo out earlier this year, but I’ve used that time to bang out a bunch of bugs, do some polish, and get the demo localized. The French localization comes courtesy of Brandon Labonté, and the Japanese localization was handled by Kakehashi Games, who you may remember from ALSO handling the Japanese localization for In Stars and Time. And, yes, the full game will be localized into French and Japanese too. (And maybe more?? We’ll see!)
addedDo you like your girls little and sharp? Then may I point (hehoheo) you towards this lovely trio of Sosotte, Amour, and Betz pins, now available at the Yetee! Hold them. Admire them. Put them on your clothes and show them the world.

It’s been just a little over a year since we first announced Truth Scrapper as part of the Six One Indie Showcase. Ever since, I have received messages. Many of them. “ADRIENNE,” they cry, “WE WANNA PLAY THE GAME!!! WE WANT TO INVESTIGATE THE MYSTERY AND MEET THE GIRLS AND FEEL THE FEELINGS. DEMO WHEN?!?!?!! ”

And today I’m happy to announce that the demo will be out… now. You can play it now. Like, immediately. In English, French, or Japanese. With a new trailer. You’re welcome. <3

Here are the important deets:

  • Takes place within a somewhat non-canonical version of day 3 within the game, to leap you right into the story with Amour and Betz both!

  • Some replayability/dialogue variation depending on memory choices

  • Around a half hour to an hour of play, depending on your reading speed

  • Approximately 10,000 words (ish)

  • Achievements!!!

  • Demo saves/progress will NOT transfer over into the full game because of the aforementioned non-canonicalness, but don’t worry, full game day 3 will be very different and you will barely even notice I promise!!!
