Trials of Fire 1.03 Release Notes
Happy Friday,
This update focuses on some Tutorial updates for new players and some new modifiers to allow players to enjoy the game differently.
We’ve also toned down the late game bosses slightly on Medium. Now that they all seem to be sitting at a more even level, we’re toning them all down slightly.

Feature Updates
Custom portraits will now be remembered for each class until you change it.
Tutorial Updates
Added Redrawing tutorial to the basic Combat Tutorial.
Added a tutorial for Underway (cavern) entrances.
Modifiers Added the following optional game modifiers.
Added ‘Three Lives’ modifier.
You will be able to restart battles up to 3 times in a run after being defeated.
Added ‘Flesh Wound’ modifier.
Being defeated in a non-main path battle will not result in a game over.
Boss Balance
Reduced the difficulty of Tier 3+ bosses slightly on Medium.
Bugs
Fixed another issue with the Giant Worm head getting on top of its body.
Fixed the Dread Fly not being able to move or attack over obstacles.
Fixed being able to hone an item more than once.
Fixed ‘Juba’s Skull’ and ‘Rinn’s Manual’ legendaries not working properly together.
