Trade Empire changes
With update 0.2.6, many improvements have been made to the guild system, intercity trade panel, market interactions, and city information screens. Several interfaces have been simplified to make decision-making easier, new information panels have been added, and various localization issues have been fixed.
NEW FEATURES
Effect: Cultural Fair
Trade Condition : Cultural Center
Cultural fairs may now occasionally be held in cities with the Cultural Center trade condition. While this event is active, luxury category goods listed in the city market sell faster.
Effect: Livestock Trader
Trade Condition : Mountainous Region
Special livestock traders may occasionally visit cities located in mountainous regions. For a limited time, these traders sell only livestock-category goods in the local market.
Effect: Resource Surplus
Trade Condition : Rich Resources
Cities with rich resources may enter a productive period driven by local producers. When this effect is active, certain locally produced goods will be produced in greater quantities during the next inventory restock. The affected goods can be viewed in the tooltip of the active effect.
New event screens have been added to inform the player when a guild is founded or when a new guild branch is opened.
Guild and branch status can now be viewed in the Cities Panel. The city detail panel also indicates whether the city contains the Main Guild or a Guild Branch.
Trade condition icons have been added to the New Game Panel in the Main Menu. Short tooltip descriptions have also been added to these icons. Players can now see the trade advantages and risks of the selected starting city more clearly before beginning a new game.
IMPROVEMENTS
The city production tooltip has been expanded.
In addition to item rarity and weight, active demand information is now also displayed. If demand exists, the text is shown in green; if there is no active demand, it is shown in red.
Tooltips have been added to the Active Effects section of the Cities Panel.
Detailed explanations of city effects and the areas they affect are now shown in this section.
The icons in the guild banner pool have been updated.
Ship and caravan visuals have been updated.
Tooltip support has been added to the Market Panel.
The Summary tab in the intercity trade panel has been reorganized.
The item list has been simplified.
Item information is now easier to read.
The total cost is now more clearly highlighted.
The Vehicle tab in the intercity trade panel has been improved.
The selected vehicle image is now more prominent.
Vehicle information in the My Vehicles section has been localized.
The rental vehicle label has been localized.
The “No Vehicle Selected” and “No Route Selected” images used in the intercity trade panel are now localized and change according to the selected language.
Route cards listed in the Route tab of the intercity trade panel have been redesigned.
Route type, tax, and risk information is now displayed in a cleaner and more readable format.
Notification icons have been reviewed and updated for better visual consistency.
FIXES
Fixed an issue that allowed players to open a guild branch before founding the main guild. Players must now establish the main guild before opening any branches.
Camera movement and pause hotkeys have been disabled while entering a guild name on the guild creation screen.
When an input field is active, WASD and the spacebar no longer trigger game controls.
Fixed an issue in the Market Panel where the purchase quantity input would automatically reset to "1" when a market sale occurred.
The entered quantity is now preserved even if the market refreshes while the player is typing.
Fixed an issue where the rental cost was displayed when attempting to buy a vehicle through the intercity trade panel.
The purchase tab now correctly displays the vehicle’s actual purchase price.
Several localization issues in the intercity trade panel have been fixed.
Vehicle type, route type, and route card information now update according to the selected language.
