This is our first update where the game no longer feels like a demo but plays like a core product. We hope that you can see the vision is coming together into one package to support our funky fairy and her snowcone dreams.

addedv0.6 Change LogNew Stage 4! Are you ready to take on Patchouli Knowledge in her library? While the level graphics and dialog are not 100%, Stage 4 is finally playable from start to finish. Our theme for this level is "What if the maze was a puzzle". You'll see many new mechanics and notice a HUGE difference between Normal and Hard. Since Stage 4 is over the half-way point, we took away the training wheels and really started to make the game difficult. (We do think that Stage 4 Hard & Lunatic is quite rough and will likely be slightly reduced in the future.)

New Ability "Vacuum" This unique ability can help you collect crystals faster or get those pesky crystals that are in bad locations!

To be clear, this change log is massive. It's to the point that we can't list every change. We hope you play around with the game more and explore what's new! We have done our best to hide any spoilers!

  • New Stage 4!

    • Are you ready to take on Patchouli Knowledge in her library?

      • We wanted to make the records more interactive and viewable. We know getting gold on some of these levels is difficult and we want you to be able to screenshot your success.

  • New Mode called Extra Trials!

    • Almost a year ago, we teased a mode called "CirnoThe Master Grand". This mode has gone through many changes but has turned into a new mode called Extra Trials.
    • In Extra Trials, Cirno bought a Kappatendo which contains unique trials not seen in Story Mode!

    • Extra Trial mode will contain "Challenges" and "Events".

      • Challenge Trials will be short levels remixing old attacks from the story and sometimes even cut content. There are none available currently but they are in the works!

      • Event Trials are from our in-person competitions we run at conventions. As a bonus feature, the top time for events will be the winners time from the convention!

    • Our first Event Trial negates the score in favor for time! Themed around AGDQ 2026, (A Speedruning Game Convention), we created a trial that has less RNG and unique actions from the bosses!

      • The champion of AGDQ 2026 got a time of 2:29.355! They blew away the dev time by over 30 seconds!

        • (If you want to have some fun, try beating this time with limited tries!)

  • and Lots of Polish!

    • Loading Added to make starting a level fair and perfect!

    • Boss attack names are updated

    • More localization fixed have been added

    • Damage quips are re-added

    • New Game Over Screen

    • Ability has animations again

    • Bosses explode when defeated

    • Stages 1-3 got cleaned up

  • and those pesky Bug Fixes!

    • Controller players should be able to use the pause menu

    • 1up should not show immediately after continuing a game over

    • Getting a Game Over now accurately shows the score reduction

    • 240Hz glitch fixed. Game was easier on 240Hz, but now it's identical to other refresh rates.

The Roadmap

With our game approaching the finish line, we want to make sure everyone has a fun game launch. This means the team needs to protect our users to prevent spoilers for the big finale. Here is a basic roadmap of the future.

  • Side B Soundtrack on Steam

    • Side A will still remain available, Side B will be a free update for those who bought the soundtrack.

  • Overall Polish across the game

Thank you EVERYONE for supporting Cirno and our game studio. We are getting closer to the finish line and can't wait to show off everything! We do NOT have a release date yet but we can promise we're working on that!
