Another month, another update!
This month has been focused primarily on the content and meat of the game, as well as little bits of polish that makes the game feel good to play. We added several new bullet types and are about a third of the way through adding in potions and their effects. What's a potion you may ask?
Well, potions in Top Gnome serve as the game's powerups. As you play through the game and collect the game's currency (Buttons!), you will be able to buy these powerups as well as the different types of bullets. We wanted each potion to have a unique effect that makes them stand out from one another, and hold the design philosophy that potions must give back some form of control back to the player given the game's mechanics.
