New Songs - Maoudamashii Pack
A big batch of new tracks is in: 24 game-style songs from Maoudamashii (battles, towns, fields, dungeons, castles, bosses, and more), plus Shining Tomorrow, an original track by yours truly in a JPOP style with a clear duet.
Plenty of fresh charts!

All-Star Mode (highly experimental)
All-Star is a new (single player only) experimental way to play: instead of picking one instrument for the whole song, TomoJam keeps you playing by filling the quiet stretches so you're not sitting through dead air.
The game auto-picks which part you perform and can hand you a new instrument when the arrangement moves on, at natural phrase breaks.
Toggle All-Star ↔ Band Mode with Left Stick Click (L3) on song select.
All-Star has its own scores per song (separate from per-instrument Band Mode charts).
Jam rating will not be affected by All-Star mode plays yet.
Song buttons show All-Star Heat, note counts, grades, and Jam Rating so you can see what you're getting into before you dive in.
Works with the official library and with custom MIDIs - the whole point is it should feel good on whatever you throw at it.
That being said, All-Star Mode is very much an experimental mode as it stands. This will require a lot of tweaking to get it right, so have fun with it for now, but know this system will be extremely volatile in terms of changes over time.
Song Button Expansion - Multiple Genres
The song button got an upgrade. Now authors can attach 2 genres to a song for better classification. More genres will be added over time, so please reach out if you feel anything is missing.
Currently classified songs are unaffected, if only 1 genre is set, only 1 will appear
This also affects the venue mode in setlist builder. Sub-genres are taken into account albeit at a lower weight than main genres
As part of this the Tomo Jam Metadata Editor was also updated to support multiple genres. It is available in your Tools/ folder in your install location
Online Hosting - Content Sync Toggle
When you host an online lobby, you can now turn Content Sync on or off.
On (default): players can share custom songs like before.
Off: the session stays on bundled songs only - simpler joins, no content download wait.
Fixes and Changes
Instrument buttons can warn you when a part switches patches mid-song, so you know what you're signing up for before you lock in.
As always, keep jammin~
