addedIt's time to open the kimono, just slightly, to share a glimpse of what we've been building in the shadows. The alpha demo for Wildlands of Faenora clearly showed us that people love the gameplay loop and the engaging RPG / roguelite systems we've built. So what was next? Time to dive in head first to add the heart of the game. The narrative that draws everything together. There is an epic tale to tell in the Wildlands - one of betrayal, sacrifice and a cute dimension-travelling red panda inventor - and we're on the path to do just that.
addedWe have done a complete redesign of the user interface, from the battle visuals (including all new unit and skill animations, targeting visuals and more), menus, transitions, animations and cutscenes. Rather than talking portraits, we have put together an isometric cutscene system inspired by our favourite pixel art cutscenes of yesteryear yesterdecades from the classics that inspire us, such as Final Fantasy Tactics and Ogre Battle 64.

Thank you so much for your interest and excitement in the game. The Wildlands still hold many secrets and we can't wait to uncover them with you.
