addedThe new shader really helps the buildings stand out, and they now retain some brightness at night, which gives the world a much nicer atmosphere.
changedI’ve also added more character variation and will continue improving NPC behaviour. The farm now features a family of farmers, helping the island feel more alive.
addedThe shader also applies to all animals and characters really making them stand out. The demo will remain available for at least a week after Steam Next Fest, so feel free to try it out. I’d love to hear your thoughts - what you’d like to see more of, less of, or improved further. Feedback is always appreciated. And if you enjoy the demo, please consider adding it to your wishlist - it really helps. For the next update, I’ll be focusing on adding more building and character variety, as well as introducing an encouragement mechanic for Free Play mode and clearer UI objectives for Hop Mode. I’ll also be adding more FX to the world, along with more unique flora and fauna for each of the Scottish isles. There’s still a lot to do, but I’m really enjoying how everything is coming together. Next week, I’ll be attending a three-day conference where I’m looking forward to showcasing the demo and gathering more player feedback. Thanks again for your support. See you at the next build!
