addedI’ve released a new update addressing feedback from players who tried the demo at Move Summit in Edinburgh. Here’s what’s changed:
changedBuilding Placement Fix During playtesting, I noticed it was possible to place multiple buildings while one was still in its construction animation. If you had enough money and resources, you could spawn dozens at once. Tiles are now marked as occupied as soon as construction begins, fixing the issue.
changedUI Improvements Based on feedback:
changedThe Actions menu has been moved to the beginning, as “Fresh Build” is usually the most important option.
changedThe back button has been moved to the first position and changed from “>” to “<” to make navigation clearer.
removedThe time slider is no longer interactable.

Building Placement Fix During playtesting, I noticed it was possible to place multiple buildings while one was still in its construction animation. If you had enough money and resources, you could spawn dozens at once. Tiles are now marked as occupied as soon as construction begins, fixing the issue.

UI Improvements Based on feedback:

  • The Actions menu has been moved to the beginning, as “Fresh Build” is usually the most important option.

  • The back button has been moved to the first position and changed from “>” to “<” to make navigation clearer.

  • The time slider is no longer interactable.

Water Movement Option Some players felt the water movement was too fast. I’ve added a toggle in the Options menu (under Fullscreen) that allows you to completely stop the water shader’s movement and rotation.

New Island Placement Update The “New Island” block now works similarly to building placement. You can preview the terrain location and click to confirm before placing it. This should allow for more customised shapes and better control.

I’ve also removed the pier from “Fresh Start” mode, as it was possible to build around or on top of it.

Thank you to everyone who gave feedback at Move Summit, and to those creating content and playing the game as well as downloading and wishlisting.

I truly appreciate the support.

See you at the next one! Silviu
