fixedAlso, we replaced the "filling jar" progression system with a more organic one, where you get recipes in various ways. Right now there is only one very simple one, but we'll implement more very soon. We want to weave the overall story into it. We fixed a lot of issues, like:
changedShop icons
changed✨ Build Mode Tutorial ✨🛠️
changedAlso, we haven't made anything tutorial like yet for the build mode so there is a quick one here if you wanna try it out:
changedIf you click on the toolbox (the one below on the picture) you get into build mode, there you can grab stuff and drag it wherever you want, on the floor, on another table and such. You can also rotate objects holding "R". Some Objects have more design options, the walls for example can have patterns. Just right click on the wall or other objects and you can change the color or if available pattern. For the Mixer you can choose the kind of metal you want for the top and color for the bottom. You can also change color of Light for Lamps and such for maybe a mysterious ghostly Bakery or a a very warm one.
changedWe also made some first little Furniture Options like lamps a plant and such. You can purchase those in the shop.

In this, we have the first iteration of the bakery customization system. Feel free to give lots of ideas regarding that, like what colors, patterns or furniture you'd like to see.

Right now, you can change the color of many things like the rug, tablecloth, walls, and such and sometimes choose a pattern.

The colors and patterns are not final.

But feel free to suggest anything you'd love to have! ✨

Also, we replaced the "filling jar" progression system with a more organic one, where you get recipes in various ways. Right now there is only one very simple one, but we'll implement more very soon. We want to weave the overall story into it. We fixed a lot of issues, like:

  • Buggy windowed mode

  • Pinned recipe being too small or too big

  • Some recipes not being ordered

  • Shop icons

  • Outlines not showing up

  • Many, many issues we found ourselves in the customization tool (snapping and placing stuff on top of each other was causing quite a bit of trouble)

  • And many more :D

Oh, and you now see what is what as text when you hold Ctrl and hover over an object, but we're still working on overall identifiability of ingredients.

Build Mode Tutorial ✨🛠️

Also, we haven't made anything tutorial like yet for the build mode so there is a quick one here if you wanna try it out:

If you click on the toolbox (the one below on the picture) you get into build mode, there you can grab stuff and drag it wherever you want, on the floor, on another table and such.

We also made some first little Furniture Options like lamps a plant and such. You can purchase those in the shop.

At the bottom is also a brush tool to color many things at once for example.

Later we also make a build mode inventory to store unused furniture.

Oh and you can delete furniture by clicking right click and then the trash can.

If you have any suggestions for the build mode or other aspects of the game, feel free to let us know and you can share your bakery builds on the discord, we’d love to see what everyone makes🫶
