Dear Timeshift Detective community,

thank you for the early interest in our game! We hope you'll like what you see and we eagerly await your feedback and toughts on the game so far.

We want to use these Steam events to keep you updated on the progress of the game's development and other exciting news surrounding it. As this is our first announcement on Steam, we want to give you a quick rundown of the current state of the game (as of version 0.2.3):

  • One fully playable murder mystery case.

  • 2 locations containing many objects that can be examined in different ways.

  • 6 persons that can be questioned, resulting in over 60 dialogues.

  • A notebook which automatically tracks relevant clues and unlocked questions.

  • Mysteries, which need to be solved by collecting and then combining the correct clues.

  • Confrontations, interactive dialogues where the player needs to pick the right clues in order to progress the conversation.

  • LightOS, a virtual operating system containing files, web pages and messenger chats, that can be hacked into to continue the investigation digitally.

If you've read this far, we assume you are probably interested in playing our game. We're always interested in player feedback, so if you're eager to step into the yellow trenchcoat of Harrison Steel and can't wait to start investigating, feel free to contact us via the Neox Games Discord server, where we will periodically hand out keys to our closed beta!
