The first bigger patch is out now! Its main focus is to bring consistency to even more areas of the game. This time around, a new feature got sneaked in. And a new logo, and icon.

Creatures can now wait!

  • Added 'Wait' as a potential action for a creature

  • Can be used once per creature per round

  • Will cause the creature to an additional chance to act at the end of the round

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that could result in combat getting stuck

  • Various small bugfixes

Changes

  • Removed small and large grid sizes as they made balancing the game more difficult and not adding enough benefits to warrant it (you can now select army size in Local Duels though)

  • Creatures are now always summoned in a formation, rather than just being randomly placed (formations differ based on army size)

  • Adventure progress is now save per Steam account, instead of global save per computer

  • Summoner selection in draft now uses visuals that are more in line with creature cards

  • Draft now lets players pick one of 3 randomly pre-selected summoners, instead of always getting to pick from all 8

  • Updated visuals for game mode selection in the main menu

  • Updated game logo and icn

  • Added help buttons to all scenes, including new contextual help topics (main menu now only contains general help topics)

  • Replaced FAQ section in help menu with Credits

  • Tooltips now use SDF fonts to be consistent with the rest of the game
