addedI have worked on an update on the demo to add achievements to the game (still need to connect to Steam Achievements) and completely revamped the shop page.
addedI have added an achievements page. Most of these will be completed as you progress through the demo, but there are a few trickier ones that will require specific builds.
changedI have revamped the shop page, now known as the crew page. It holds the player and upcoming crew slots, cumulative stats of the selected player/crew member, and then the shop at the bottom. I hope it feels intuitive, but am open to feedback!
fixedI fixed a few bugs and added some small QoLs.
addedAchievementsI have added 17 achievements for the demo. Most are normal progression achievements, but there are a few that need some luck or very specific level up selections (looking at you Fast Hands). Remember to take advantage of the reroll system, will help tremendously if luck is not on your side!
addedAchievementsAlongside the Achievements page, I've added pop up messages when you reach an achievement for some added dopamine.

Hi everyone!

I have worked on an update on the demo to add achievements to the game (still need to connect to Steam Achievements) and completely revamped the shop page.

Highlights:

  • I have added an achievements page. Most of these will be completed as you progress through the demo, but there are a few trickier ones that will require specific builds.

  • I have revamped the shop page, now known as the crew page. It holds the player and upcoming crew slots, cumulative stats of the selected player/crew member, and then the shop at the bottom. I hope it feels intuitive, but am open to feedback!

  • I fixed a few bugs and added some small QoLs.

Achievements

I have added 17 achievements for the demo. Most are normal progression achievements, but there are a few that need some luck or very specific level up selections (looking at you Fast Hands). Remember to take advantage of the reroll system, will help tremendously if luck is not on your side!

Alongside the Achievements page, I've added pop up messages when you reach an achievement for some added dopamine.

Crew Page

I have consolidated the Shop page with the upcoming Crew page (Spoiler: your crew will be the automated lumberjacks that you can customize). In my testing I had to keep going back and forth between these pages, which felt like a terrible player experience, so I just combined them. The shop is smaller, but I think all information is still conveyed well enough (open to feedback though). As an added bonus I have added a stats pane in this new view to see how all stats from axes, characters and the skill tree come together, so hopefully some find that useful.

I was worried that there may be too much going on with the Crew page, I'd love to hear from you guys!

Thanks everyone who has played the demo so far and provided feedback to help make the game better!
