The Wild Outback v1.0.6.2 is now live! This is a minor update that makes the game less frustrating to play through. It also adds some quality of life improvements.
Player Changes:
- Added XP Bar with levels.
- Added UI showing which weapon is currently in use, with clickable buttons.
- Healing from Health pickups doubled.
- Scaled down Player projectile and enemy health point numbers for consistency. Certain player projectiles that were weak are now more effective while other stronger projectiles are more balanced.
- Jules's throwing knives have a much lower chance of spawning lightning bolts when striking enemies.
- Player lightning bolts deal far more damage.
- Dust Destructor powerup now follows the player.
- Removed damage bonus for Harley's Baseball and Water Gun.
- Alien Robot Ally lifetime reduced to 15 seconds (Was 45 seconds).
- Increased projectile speed for all of Colin's weapons.
Enemy Changes:
- All enemy projectile damage has been reduced for better Player survivability.
- All Enemy projectiles have been slowed down.
- Enemy projectile damage against other enemies has been reduced to 1.
- Alien robot enemies have reduced fire rate.
- Reduced powerup star spawn chance from all enemies.
- Reduced Level 1 Boss movement speed and acceleration.
- Level 1 Boss Lazers are far less aggressive.
- Level 2 Boss is slower and fire rate reduced.
- Phase Two screen graphic removed for Level 1 and 3 bosses.
- Reduced Level 3 Boss movement speed and acceleration.
- Level 3 Boss Lazers are far less aggressive.
- Reduced Charlie Gang movement speed and acceleration.
- Every Charlie Gang member now has the same max health.
- 'Healthy Smite' powerup renamed to 'Thunderstorm'
- Grim reaper enemy movement speed greatly reduced.
Miscellaneous Changes:
- The distance between the Level camera has been slightly lowered to the ground and is now consistent throughout all levels. (You can still right click to toggle wide cam)
- Reduced enemy spawn rates in levels 1 - 4.
- Level 2 enemy spawns stop at 4 minutes instead of 5.
- Level 4 completion timer shortened to 4 minutes from 6 minutes.
