天灾:防御 THE TROUBLE:DEFENSE changes
It’s been half a year since the last update. My update pace has been extremely slow, and I apologize to all waiting players.
Here are the update contents:
Major Update: New Endless Mode
In the new endless mode, a brand-new progression system has been implemented. Instead of earning money from kills to purchase upgrades, you will gain experience from kills to level up automatically.
Upon leveling up, you can pick one enhancement from three random options. There are currently 19 unique enhancements available in this version.
Other Updates: Day & Night Cycle
A day and night cycle has been added to endless mode. At normal time speed, one full in-game day lasts 24 real-world minutes, with lighting shifting dynamically over time.
Weather System
Four weather types have been added: clear, cloudy, rain, and thunderstorm. Weather may transition at fixed times each in-game day.
Lighting & Shadows
Visual lighting effects have been improved. Enemies now cast visible shadows under illumination at night.
Minor Adjustments:
Added volume adjustment controls.
Added F11 shortcut for fullscreen / windowed toggle (may contain minor bugs).
Expanded save and load functionality. All enemies and their positions, as well as the player’s location, are now fully saved.
Fixed cannon bugs and significantly increased its firing rate.
I only have stable system performance while running a game, so this announcement was written with Dead by Daylight open in the background.
