Hi!

As we’ve mentioned in the previous post, The Ten Thousand Li Wall is a game inspired by the history of the Great Wall, its construction and defence.

Right now, we’re focused on creating new game assets and implementing core gameplay mechanics in such a way that it would present the process of building the Great Wall in the most epic way possible.

WIP

You have probably noticed that in our teasers and screenshots the Wall appears to be far larger than it actually is. And you are correct — in reality, the Great Wall of China reaches about 6-7 meters in height (and up to 15 meters in some sections), while we want to depict it as even more massive and taller. We want to show the Wall as an impregnable bastion that keeps your people in absolute safety. Or at least, they may think so.

WIP

Though we draw inspiration from the history of the Ming dynasty when working on The Ten Thousand Li Wall, our goal is not historical accuracy. We want to make a game that would capture the spirit of the time, show the importance of the Great Wall, and combine it with interesting gameplay.
