And while we received a lot of great feedback, and had some plans ourselves too, we figured we’d save this for 1.0, as by then we would have the most accurate vision of all the stuff the game holds.

🤔 But what about my save file?!

First off, all changes we have made to the progression will not affect your save file. While we do recommend starting fresh for the optimal experience, we have made sure that any existing save files will not lose progress.

Secondly, our 1.0 will coincide with the launch of The Spell Brigade on PlayStation 5. And while we do have cross-play that allows you to play together across different platforms, there will be no cross-save, unfortunately.

The Spell Brigade will have a total of 114 Steam Achievements. Many new ones have been added. And each one unlocks something new.

🔮 Enchantments

Due to a lot of requests we have also taken an extensive look at our Enchantments to see in what ways we could expand it. Here’s what we’ve done:

  • We added 5 new Enchantments, including new features like banning and pinning upgrades.

  • We redivided all Enchantments into 5 Tiers instead of 3.

  • We gave all Enchantments a 5th available upgrade.

  • We gave each Enchantment a 6th, unique upgrade, called Masteries. These are powerful effects linked to that stat which will come in handy for sure.

⭐Titles

As a small addition, you can now also unlock various Titles, which you can equip to be displayed right under your username in the Lobby. Most are unlocked by advancing your Wizard Rank, but there are also some specific ones linked to Quests. If you ever wanted to be known as “The Tintinnabulating”, you now can.

The Spell Brigade 1.0 releases NEXT WEEK on April 29th on Steam and PlayStation 5.
