The Sound of Piano changes
vALPHA2026042401 Patch Notes
- Game sceneFixed Numpad recognition logic. Players can now use Numpad number keys for gameplay (Setting).
- Game sceneFixed an issue where Auto lane opacity was not being applied correctly in 4K and 2K modes.
- Game sceneAdjusted scoring logic for Auto lanes. Scores from Auto lanes no longer contribute to the total, ensuring the maximum score does not exceed 1,000,000 (excluding XS rank).
Game scene: The current Key mode (2k), (4k), or (6k) is now displayed next to the song title at the top of the screen.
- All scenesImproved Cheat code feedback. Entering a cheat code now mutes the current track and plays a notification sound. The label will be visible at the right bottom of the screen.
- Song select sceneImproved Radar chart scaling. The maximum rating is no longer a fixed value, it now dynamically scales based on the highest track level within the selected Key mode for better visibility.
Song select scene: Refined difficulty levels (Lv.) for all tracks to ensure higher accuracy in player ratings.
Profile scene: Limited the maximum number of profiles to 15 to optimize data management.
- All scenesImplemented a new custom popup design. The default system popups have been completely replaced with game themed UI.
- Song select sceneAdded EZ MODE. (EZ charts are not ready though.)
Title scene: Enhanced cheat code security. When a cheat is active, access to certain features is restricted, and specific cheats are prevented from being saved.
- Game sceneImproved the Skill test algorithm for more precise performance evaluation.
- Game sceneAdded Beat Sounds (Setting). A drum based metronome is now available, allowing players to track the rhythm independently of the Beat Lines for a more immersive experience.
- Game sceneImproved Beat Line synchronization. Beat Lines (and sounds) now automatically align with the track's actual start time (e.g. syncing perfectly if a song begins at 5.1s).
Alpha testers, please refer to the information above for your playtest. Bug reports are always welcome.
Thank you for enjoying the sound of the piano!
