Display & Adaptation
Auto-detect system resolution on first launch — The game now automatically matches your screen resolution on the first run. No more manual tweaking.
Full support for non-16:9 screens — Fixed 6 UI layout issues. Ultrawide, 4:3, and other aspect ratios now display correctly.
Fixed monster death animation offset — Resolved an issue where death animations would sometimes render in the wrong position.
Combat Improvements
Card impact overhaul — A new three-stage hit feedback system: screen shake + card bounce + brightness pulse. Every strike lands with satisfying weight.
Discard trail upgrade — Discard trails now use a dual-layer ink-wash effect, matching the game's traditional Chinese ink-painting aesthetic.
Fixed discard animation timing — Resolved an issue where discard animations would fire out of sequence.
Bug Fixes
Event clear path fix — Beating a floor via an event now properly unlocks the next difficulty level.
Boss clear empty slot fix — Fixed an issue where a phantom blank NPC could appear after a boss victory.
Death ending flow polish — Death now transitions directly to the result screen, removing an unnecessary fade-to-gray step.
Floor 2 event option fix — Fixed a broken condition check on the "Obsession Leads the Way" option at the locked staircase.
