The Skyland Chronicles changes
Public Playtests for The Skyland Chronicles – August 25–31, 2025
Step aboard the Old Harlot and see what we’ve been working on in The Skyland Chronicles.
For 7 days only — from August 25 to 31 — we’re opening the doors to public playtests.
This is your chance to experience the game before the official demo drops in October! Steam post image What’s in the Playtests?
The opening chapter that introduces you to the world of Skyland.
A “simple but deep” soulslike combat system and easy to pick up, hard to master.
A world inspired by the Golden Age of Piracy, full of choices, secrets, and narrative twists.
And yes — even in the Playtest, you can miss something… or choose the wrong path.
Why Play Now?
After August 31, the playtest version will be gone.
This is a short, one-time opportunity.
If you want to experience the game early and help us make it even better — you’re in the right place.
Want to Help Us Improve the Game?
At the end of the playtest, you’ll see a short feedback form.
We’ll also post the same questions on our Discord — so if you’d rather share your thoughts with other players or join the conversation in real time, hop on the server:

Steam post image For Content Creators and Streamers
If you’re planning to share content from the game — we truly appreciate it! However, we kindly ask that you hold off on publishing any gameplay, screenshots, or story-related materials from this version.
The official content window for creators is September 20 – October 15.
During that time, you’ll be able to showcase the game before the free Steam demo goes live and be among the first to tell the world about The Skyland Chronicles. Steam post image P.S. A Few Words from Us
We’re a small indie team from Poland.
Three years ago, the five of us dropped everything to work on this game.
If you enjoy what we’ve created, consider following us and adding the game to your wishlist — it really means a lot and helps us stand out among bigger titles.
If you like the playtest, keep a close eye on us.
Something bigger is coming soon… and it’ll take this story even further.
