The Sigil Engine changes
The demo for The Sigil Engine has been updated with a more complete and better-paced experience ahead of Steam Next Fest.
What’s new in this update:
Demo expanded to 10 levels The demo now offers a clearer progression from learning the basics to authoring logic and automation, giving a stronger sense of the game’s depth.
New gameplay mechanic preview A small but meaningful new mechanic has been introduced to hint at how the system will evolve in the full game.
UI clarity improvements Several UI elements have been refined to make execution flow and key information easier to read, especially for first-time players.
Per-level feedback prompts Each level now includes a lightweight feedback option, helping capture player impressions and friction points.
This update focuses on clarity, pacing, and signal, not content volume — making the demo a better reflection of what the full game aims to be.
Thanks to everyone who has tried the demo and shared feedback so far. If you’re interested in where The Sigil Engine is heading, consider wishlisting on Steam to follow development.
