I am thrilled to announce that my computer is finally fixed! The first thing I did upon my return was to rush a fix for the most critical bug: The game crash caused by switching whip skills has been completely resolved.
As a year-end surprise for 2025 for all my supporters, I have officially rolled out Version 0.99! Here are the detailed patch notes for this update:
General Updates:
Fixed: A crash issue triggered by switching skills.
Fixed: An issue where players could occasionally get stuck after crouching in corners due to collision errors.
Optimized: Level lighting and shadows.
Adjusted: Smoothed out the enemy difficulty curve.
Map & Levels:
World Map: Fixed a crash when entering Luoyang City.
Bishui Palace: * Fixed collision failure for spike traps.
Fixed a dialogue loop issue with Xuanwu.
Fixed a bug where players couldn't return to the world map after re-entering a cleared Bishui Palace stage.
Qinglong (Blue Dragon) Tower: * Updated several level sections; the backtracking routes are now more intuitive.
Fixed performance issues caused by the enemy "Shen" (Mirage) spawning too many summons.
Fixed a bug where the Boss battle timer failed to start.
Fixed collision failure for the Boss Qinglong’s lightning strikes.
- Desert Flight StageFixed a loading failure for sub-levels in the latter half of the scene.
- Jiangzhou SettlementFixed a save data failure after completing the Qinglong stage.
Jianye: Fixed an issue where story dialogues might not trigger upon the first entry.
- Baihu (White Tiger) TorrentAdjusted the AI logic for the Boss "Mountain Spider" to reduce its idle/staring state.
Luoyang: * Fixed a bug where the BGM would not switch correctly.
Fixed an issue where the story would not trigger after the battle with Xiahou Dun.
Zhuque (Vermilion Bird) Tomb: * Optimized scene performance/efficiency.
Fixed an issue where player data was not loading correctly at the start of the level.
Fixed a teleportation error from Zhuque Tomb to Zhuque City upon completion.
Fixed a bug where Zhou Yu’s skills dealt no damage to enemies.
Zhuque City: Optimized story dialogues.
Yingchuan: * Fixed the hitbox (Detection Box) failure for the "Sandworm."
Fixed visual issues with the smoke exhaled by "Qiongqi."
Fixed loading failures for late-game sub-levels.
Optimized environmental triggers.
Optimized level structure and backtracking paths.
Final Battle: Optimized story dialogues.
The Final Mile
As you can see from the version number, The Righteousness: SanGuo is very close to its 1.0 Full Release!
To ensure the quality of the final version, I have entered the final "polishing phase." This means I will not be adding new features for the time being; instead, I will focus entirely on fixing remaining minor bugs and refining the overall experience. Soon, I will post a 2025 Early Access summary to share the journey we've taken over the past year.
