As proud as I was of the save slot system I introduced in the last patch, the general overhaul of various underlying components led to a few bugs that left the game in a rather broken state.

Due to a lot of real-life chaos going on, and the fact that I'm the only person testing the game, I didn't actually realise just how broken it was.

If you discovered these bugs, or have now realised that your playthrough's reality has been utterly warped by the bugs in question (which allowed save data to persist when loading during an active session), then I can only apologise.

Hopefully I've squashed the biggest bugs now though. Hopefully. Fingers crossed.
