Hello there!

Thank you for checking out the latest news from ROCOCO GAMES and The Perfect Prince!
Today, we’d like to talk about one of the key charms of this title — its world and art style, or simply put... The World of a Picture-Book Fairy Tale.
Our focus isn’t just on making it look like a storybook.
We’re also deeply committed to expressing the fairy-tale essence within the story itself.
Here are a few highlights from that pursuit:
The World Expands
Warm, watercolor-style backgrounds bring each scene to life.
As the protagonist explores new places, the world gradually unfolds before them.
Page Effects
Map transitions appear as page turns, and narration sometimes accompanies key events.
These little “book-like” touches are sprinkled throughout to enhance the storybook atmosphere.
Demi-Humans!
Charming demi-human characters also add to the fairy-tale flavor of the world.
(We plan to introduce more of them later in the bonus 4-panel comics!😊)
By wrapping the entire setting and gameplay systems in this picture-book motif—
its aesthetic, charm, and storytelling style—
we’ve built a world that truly embodies the essence of a storybook adventure.
We hope you’ll look forward to the unique experience of stepping into a living fairy tale and turning its pages yourself. 📖
That’s all for today.
Thanks as always for supporting ROCOCO GAMES and The Perfect Prince!
Stay tuned for the bonus 4-panel comic at the end!
