A new update for The Omins teaser demo is now available.

๐ฆ About the demo
The current demo is available outside of Steam and can be downloaded from the official project page.
๐พ Save System v1.0
You can now save your progress and continue your journey later.
The system also includes:
Autosave every 5 minutes
Autosave after each completed game phase
Quick Save with F5
This is the first version of the save system and an important step toward the upcoming Steam demo release.
Other Improvements and Fixes
๐ Buildings & World Behavior
Several systems have been improved to make settlements feel smoother and more natural:
Better management of employed Omins when enabling or disabling buildings
Improved opening and closing behavior of building doors
Smarter wandering decisions with closer destinations
๐ง AI Improvements
Some behaviors have been refined for more believable reactions:
Better fleeing distance decisions
Fixed animals constantly eating while off-screen
๐จ Animations & Presentation
A number of visual issues were cleaned up:
Fixed head rotation while walking or running
Fixed movement animations not pausing correctly
Improved Omins death poses
๐งฉ UI Improvements
Several interface issues have been resolved:
Build panels now position correctly when loading from checkpoints
Building upgrade levels are now displayed correctly
Omin labels are hidden when selecting multiple units
๐ง Stability & Fixes
This version also includes bug fixes and polish:
Fixed a crash when pausing during a death event
Fixed Hunting technology unlocking too early
Restored an incomplete music track
Stress-testing 1300 omins

๐ Whatโs Next
The next major step will be v1.6, which is planned to introduce the Main Menu and further improvements as development moves toward the Steam version.
