Worldbuilding Comes First

Before designing any character, we crafted a living, breathing world—one with tides, seasons, and market days. Every person you meet does not exist solely to "give you a quest." They had their own lives long before you arrived.

Character Personality System

No character is defined by a single label. We've designed multiple personality dimensions for each one—the facade you initially see and the inner self you discover over time often do not align. The longer you interact with them, the more unexpected facets you will uncover.

Full Cast Recruitment System

In this title, every character is recruitable—but "joining your party" does not mean they will be "obedient," nor does it imply "forever."

We have designed multiple types of recruitment, including:

TypeBrief Description
Loyalty Once they join, they stand by you through thick and thin.
ConditionalA transaction of interests—once the matter is settled, they depart.
WandererComes and goes freely, following their own whims.
ReluctantNot here to help you—just happens to be heading the same way.
AtonementOnce stood against you, now seeks to make amends.

How different characters join you also determines how they may leave.

Opposing Factions System

The game features a group of strong-willed characters with clearly defined stances, each representing a different answer to the world's core question.

  • Some guard the old order.

  • Some yearn to break everything.

  • Some watch coldly from the sidelines.

  • Some strive to create new rules.

They are not simply "enemies"—under certain conditions, they can also become your companions. Yet, even if they join you, they will not become docile.

Mirror Character Mechanism

You are not the only possibility in this world. The game will feature characters whose stances are similar to yours but who have walked different paths. Their purpose is not to oppose you, but to make you reconsider—what is the true foundation of your relationships with those around you?

Departure & Relationship Dynamics

Companions can voluntarily leave your party. Conflicts can also arise within the group—between old and new members, or between characters from opposing factions, leading to clashes or unexpected alliances.

Your party is not a fixed roster, but a living ecosystem.

No Single "True" Ending

We will not give you one "correct" ending. Who remains by your side when the story concludes—that is your answer.

Thank you for your interest in “The NOexistenceN of Morphean Paradox : The Forest of Silver Shallots”. We will continue to share our development progress.
