changedHello Uncles! I am working on a VERY large update. Its been a month since the last one, and a lot has changed. I was going to release a lot of it in the last update, but it was not ready yet, and I wanted an update for the winter sale to go along side it.
addedThis update will have a LOT of QQL, new items, new mechanics, new quest, new achievements, and a LOT of reworking and balancing.
addedSome of the new activation visuals
changedThis update is also here to balance the playing field
changedBalancing is hard, so this update will have a beta before launch.
addedThe main game is painful to work on. This is my first game, and first ever Unity project. The code and back end of the main game is held together with one piece of double sided tape that is peeling and hours of pain. Doing anything causes a domino effect that takes HOURS to pick up. I am working on fixing some of those systems, but for the time being, it is hard to add new content

Welcome back to the Onkleville times

Update in the works!

Hello Uncles! I am working on a VERY large update. Its been a month since the last one, and a lot has changed. I was going to release a lot of it in the last update, but it was not ready yet, and I wanted an update for the winter sale to go along side it.

This update will have a LOT of QQL, new items, new mechanics, new quest, new achievements, and a LOT of reworking and balancing.

This update is also here to balance the playing field

Uncle has been climbing the mountain a little too easily

Mainly nerfing over preforming items and buffing ones that are not so great This is mainly to prevent some items from being busted/required to win, while others are useless or overshadowed.

Balancing is hard, so this update will have a beta before launch.

This update also has a lot of bug fixes such as the DRM being too aggressive and some wacky interactions with some items.

But why are you putting so much effort toward Rogue mode than the base game?

3 reasons:

  1. The main game is painful to work on.

  2. Rogue mode is more fun to work on. This goes hand in hand with reason 1, but adding new cool stuff is much more fun when working with Rogue mode, than the main game. The main game also does not have much to add, it is already "complete" in my eyes.

  3. It is already out/done, I don't want to mess something up, and now the main game is no longer fun. I would rather play it safe and keep it the same

There will be new content for the main game, but it will be minor. Sorry for anyone hoping for a new mountain!

Will there be a beta

Yes! It is out now!

You may need to uninstall the DLC to access it, but your progress will stay, and your DLC access will too!

Additionally, the beta will give everyone access to the DLC for a small amount of time, so take advantage of it! Your feedback is greatly appreciated

There is so much content, I can't wait to see what y'all think!

See you at the top
