Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a great holiday season. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone who follows the game a happy and successful 2026!
I have some news to share. After a short break, I’m back more motivated than ever. Over the past few weeks, I’ve taken the time to carefully analyze all the feedback from every channel: Steam reviews, YouTube videos, Twitch streams, press articles, the game’s Discord, the Steam Hub, and more.
I really wanted to understand what the game can become, what players expect, what works, and what doesn’t. Based on all of this, I’ve written a complete plan for the next update (0.3).
This won’t be just a balance patch or a bug-fix update. It will be a major update that deeply reworks the game using your feedback, with the goal of making it much better than it is today.
This analysis and planning phase was important, complex, and intense. I made some tough choices and set clear directions that I believe are the right ones. That phase is now complete.
Now, it’s time to move on to implementation.
Here are some of the main directions for this update:
The theme of memories of the dead will return to the core of the game. It was underused before, and that was disappointing.
The “competitive” mode wasn’t very comfortable, since competition with AI opponents wasn’t always clear. The game will move toward a more “solo-focused” experience, with smoother and more readable encounters with rivals.
The roguelike aspect will be strengthened, replacing the feeling of always having to rush.
I’m starting the implementation today, and I’m really looking forward to showing you these changes.
Thank you all for your support.
See you soon,
Andy
