Demo v0.1.4
New Features
Auto-Fill Crafting Recipes
Added the Auto-Fill Crafting Recipes system.
Crafting stations now display items that can currently be crafted with available materials.
Players no longer need to guess recipes or constantly check crafting guides.
Some advanced items require multiple crafting steps. Players must first craft and discover new intermediate materials before those recipes become visible.
New Material: Old Copper Bangle
Added a new material item: Old Copper Bangle.
Collect 3 Old Copper Bangles to craft a Copper Nugget, which can then be refined into a Copper Ingot.
In the current version, Copper Ingots are primarily used to craft the Bell of Calling.
Previously, Copper Nuggets could only be crafted from Old Coins. New players could accidentally convert all their Old Coins into Copper Nuggets and be left without enough Old Coins for important early-game recipes. Old Copper Bangles have been added as an alternative source of copper materials to make early-game crafting more forgiving for new players.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Little Gatherer could become stuck in a harvesting loop if a crop was eaten or destroyed by wildlife before they finished harvesting it.
Fixed an issue where Little Hunter projectiles could fail to reach distant Pigs.
Fixed warning icons incorrectly appearing at the edge of the screen for events already visible to the player
Balance Changes
Loot & Resources
Adjusted drop rates and drop quantities from various creatures and creature remains.
Increased the drop rate of Rope Scrap from Old Jars.
Increased item drop quantities from Old Jars.
Beast Idol
Reduced target repelling cooldown from 6 seconds → 3 seconds.
Wind Guard
Increased movement speed bonus from 20% → 25%.
Mimic Pig
Mimic Pigs can now drop items.
Improved reaction sound effects when Mimic Pigs are hit by player abilities.
Village Start
Villages now begin with 1 Wood instead of 0.
This ensures villagers can light a campfire even if the starting Woodman dies early, reducing the risk of Shadow Entities overwhelming the village on the first night.
Looking Ahead
Future updates will focus on improving tutorials and onboarding. This update primarily addresses crafting complexity by making recipes easier to discover and use, helping new players learn the game more naturally.
