added🆕 New FeaturesDifficulty Settings - A new difficulty selection screen has been added to the new game settings. Gameplay options have been reorganized into clearer categories, with Peaceful Mode now located under difficulty settings.
changed🆕 New FeaturesNaraa Survival UI - Improved the user interface for Naraa's survival needs, offering better visibility of water and food status.
added🆕 New FeaturesGnarl Combat - A new mounted combat encounter lurks at the corruption's edge. The Gnarl is an awakened, aggressive form of the Knot - and unlike its passive cousins, it fights back. You'll need to stay mobile, read its attack patterns, and find the right moment to strike its weak point from horseback. Choosing the right ammo matters. Defeating a Gnarl pushes the corruption back and may yield rare resources. Explorers venturing into higher-intensity corruption zones will find these encounters grow fiercer.

🆕 New Features

Patch Notes:

⚖️ Balancing

  • Rifts now stay cleansed for a significantly longer period of time.

  • Improved the logic for spontaneous corruption events.

  • Improved balance gain from riding down slopes.

  • Increased the chance for rabbits to drop meat.

  • Reduced the chance for animals to drop hide.

  • Re-added the Warding Totem to the Prestige Progression.

  • Removed the Horseman's Tonic from the Bandit Cache loot table.

  • Players can now find human food items in random loot chests around ruins.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a crash that could occur during save game loading.

  • Fixed a crash related to corruption gameplay.

  • Fixed a bug where the Save Point at Takhia Village would not activate when approached.

  • Fixed an issue where accepted mission proposals could become invalid, causing missions to break.

  • Fixed various visual and state issues with corrupted rifts - spirits no longer linger after cleansing and visuals now correctly update

  • Fixed a bug where tethering a horse at Jochi Camp caused it to climb walls.

  • Fixed wild animals attacking players in shelters or save zones.

  • Fixed that the over encumbered icon in the cargo HUD remained after resolving the encumbrance.

  • Fixed that the courier rank showed as zero instead of two at game start.

  • Fixed an issue where the horse sometimes stops abruptly and can only turn.

  • Fixed an issue where NPC horses hovered when spawning without ground below them.

  • Fixed an issue with the colouring of leg hair on horses.

  • Fixed breeding blessing item requirements ignoring items from saddlebags.

  • Fixed a specific ammo box not being lootable due to a false "No space in inventory" message.

  • Fixed the glow effect not appearing when hovering over stamina-affecting buffs.

  • Fixed a stretched stamina bar in the horse overview.

  • Fixed squished icons in the stable management navigation bar.

  • Removed an unneeded unpause button from the pause menu.

  • The corruption tutorial no longer triggers when the feature is turned off.

🔊 Audio

  • Implemented missing UI sounds.

  • New bear attack and attention sounds.

  • Reduced the frequency of horse snorting sounds

  • Corruption music now begins playing from a greater distance, giving earlier atmospheric warning as you approach corrupted areas
