added6th of June 2026Game Optimization Reworked how the planets are rendered, providing significant performance improvements. • Old system: Sprite sheet rendering • New system: Shader-based rendering Planet change: • Added a separate cloud/atmosphere layer around planets Video Settings • Added an option to render clouds either in front of or underneath ships • This can be changed in: Settings → Video → Cloud Layer UI & Wording • Updated the wording on the Discovery bar to make progression clearer. Resource change • Research Vessels cost Rare Alloy (cost Debris before) • Explorer Vessels cost Knowledge (cost Debris before)
