our small 3-person team has been hard at work building The Last Mothership (a chill sci-fi incremental game) for the last 10 months.

This week we opened the first public playtest! We're so excited to share this milestone with you all.

540+ Wishlists and counting! We have lift-off 🔥

Steam post imageWe crossed 500 wishlists this week! Since launching the playtest on Tuesday, we've gained more than 100 wishlists in just 72 hours. Thank you so much for your support. We're honestly blown away by the response so far.

What you can expect from the playtest 👾

  • Around 1–2 hours of content

  • Available on Steam for Windows, macOS, and Linux

  • Playable on Steam Deck via touch screen (controller support still work-in-progress)

  • Relaxed atmosphere with original music created by our team

  • Click-and-hold gameplay. Or just hover! (no autoclickers needed)

If you've enjoyed the playtest, consider inviting a few friends to try it too. Once you've joined the playtest, find The Last Mothership in your Steam Library and you'll see an option to invite up to 3 friends.
