Last month I added direct control for all vehicles in the game (yes, that includes helicopters, airplanes, tanks, APCs, AAs, IFVs, Transport vehicles, trucks, everything!). I also implemented some new systems for camera placement, allowing players to aim vehicle weapons basically in first person! Here is a video showing all that:
