The Kind Camomille changes
This one should help a lot, if it works as well as tested. Thank you again for everyone's help and feedback.
Note : It is possible that even after the game being patched your save might have some issues. The nature of the initial bug made duplicates of the data inside the binary save file. I tried to find a way to fix save files in an automatic manner but the issue is too random.
I am sorry for that inconvenience.
Fixes :
- Fixed a problem with the Saving functionality.
- Fixed a problem with the Loading a save file after exiting the game.
- Fixed a problem when NPCs would forget you helped them, even if you did, even if it was saved.
- Doubled/Ghost menus pages should be a thing of the past.
- Dialogue overlaps should be a thing of the past (except around the birthday table, this is an other issue)
- Pets now should walk back to Camomille after activating them in the menu. Working on a fix to keep them activated on Exit/Load
- Fixed several font sizes that were going beyond the boxe's edges.
- Map was re-renderer to remove the weird yellow artifact by Mr Pelican's house.
- End Credits are now skippable ( Yes i know, why was that even an issue!?)
- Founder's monument is now working with gamepads and the Book's page are readable. The system is still being fixed for keyboard/mouse as it got really ugly under the hood and need a good overhaul.
Important Known Bugs
- Goink and Elf Quest is still broken, i deactivated it for the moment, should be fixed next patch!
- Keyboard input not working with funder monument.
- Achievments are not all working. Some are not saving properly
- If your OS is in an other language than English the menus will be in your OS language but the texts are in English. It s a bug. But you can fix it by heading to the option menu, picking your language and saving.
- Pets movement/physics interpolation is wacky with high FPS
- NPC's dialogue window are doubled around the table if you happen to be close to two of them a a time.
Quality of life things added to the todo list are :
- M to open Map
- Select to open Map
- Saving Camomille's custom color choice
- Player Position Indicator too small on Map
- Remaping Controls ( that s gonna be last)
And then the little collision bugs here and there. They are not forgotten.
