The Island of Doctor Morose changes
Hey there everyone! We're back with another update!
The previous update introduced some new bugs, as you might expect, so this quick patch is meant to squash those and smooth some rough edges that those who played informed us of as well! Have a look at the patch notes for the latest update to The Island of Doctor Morose:
-Fixed an issue where sound effects become broken after equipping the lantern item.
Sound effects now work properly all the time, and the troublesome sound that was causing the bug has been removed. (We will be adding the 'obtained oil' sound back into the game at some point in the future once we've figured out why it keeps breaking things)
-Fixed a bug where The Organizers' chase music would continue playing even after players have escaped the area
-Fixed the issue where completing the demo resulted in a softlock instead taking players to the proper end screen.
Fixed a bug involving collision and doorways which allowed players to get outside of the map
-Added a new and more intuitive hint for the Mr. Dile slingshot puzzle to help make the puzzle less confusing for players
-Updated the trigger for collecting a certain item so that players can now collect it immediately after talking to the Sad Island
-Fixed the 'Gray Void' glitch
This one, we're not 100% sure of, but we think it's fixed (we were unable to replicate it on demand, but it did stop happening at random for us after we changed a few things, so this update should fix it for you too if you were running into that problem). Hooray!
-Various other small fixes involving the save system, the lamps in the swamp, and collision
