This is our biggest content drop yet! Update 1.2 finally delivers one of your most requested features, a proper Security Guard for your payroll, introduces Pets as a full gameplay mechanic free for every player, opens the doors to 6-player co-op, lets you repaint your casino with Neon LED Strips and full Lighting Control, deals in the classic Baccarat table, and adds a few very satisfying new toys, including a vacuum cleaner that eats money.

We teased most of this in our sneak peek, and now it's finally live.

Pets: A Brand-New Gameplay Mechanic

Every casino needs a mascot. Pets are now a fully-fledged system in The House Always Wins, and the entire mechanic is included free in Update 1.2 for all players. No DLC required.

• Starter Companions: Every player gets the pet bed plus a Labrador and a Black Cat. Adopt one and it's yours.

• One Bed = One Animal: Place a pet bed from the Akei furniture shop and it becomes home to one companion. Want a whole menagerie? Place more beds.

• Command Wheel: Every pet listens to you. Open the command selector and order your companion to Follow, Sit, Walk, Speak, or just give it a Pet on the head.

• Twitch Integration: Pets display their assigned Twitch viewer name above their head, just like your other visitors.

Want More Breeds? The Pets DLC

If you want a bigger roster to choose from, the optional Pets DLC launches alongside Update 1.2 and unlocks a lot more animals. It is purely additional breeds, so nothing in the base mechanic is locked behind it.

• 18 More Dog Breeds: Golden Retriever, Husky, Corgi, Beagle, Border Collie, Boxer, Bull Terrier, Dalmatian, Doberman, French Bulldog, Jack Russell, Pitbull, Pug, Rottweiler, Shepherd, Shiba Inu, Spitz and Toy Terrier.

• 9 More Cat Breeds: Fat and stray builds across a full range of colors.

• Six-Player Co-op: Your casino can now hold up to six players in a single session. Bring the whole crew.

Neon LED Strips & Lighting Control

• Draw Your Own Neon: Grab the LED tool and draw glowing neon strips anywhere you want, along your walls, around corners, across the ceiling. You see the line before you place it, and you can rip it back out whenever you change your mind.

• Any Color You Want: Pick any color for your strips, from clean white to hot pink to full rave.

• AddedEvery Floor, Your WayThe new Lights section in your Tablet lets you recolor the casino lighting itself, and each floor can have its own color. Cozy gold downstairs, deep purple upstairs, whatever fits the vibe you're going for.

• Priced by Length: LED strips are charged by how long you make them, so a small accent strip costs pocket change next to a full ceiling run. Remove one and you get half your money back.

• Free in Sandbox: In Sandbox, LED strips cost you nothing. Go wild.

• Unlocked via Upgrades: Both LED Strips and Lighting Control arrive with their own upgrades.

• Fixed chips not clearing off the blackjack table after a round ends.

• Fixed broken slot machines getting permanently stuck at the repair station.

• Fixed a rare crash during gameplay, plus a few other crashes.

• Fixed the gap when placing objects next to each other. Walls, furniture and decor now sit flush against one another instead of being pushed apart.

• Fixed the Jackpot slot machine looking broken when viewed from a distance.
