Disclaimer: If you've got some progress in the previous demo versions, it'll unfortunately get reset, as I just introduced save file encryption. I don't forsee anymore resets in the future. On the upside, the update introduces a lot Quality of Life improvements to make the process less cumbersome.
Demo 2.1.0 log
Made the game paused when reading a note / letter.
More polish for player's movement & controls, to make it feel more "grounded".
Grounded detection improvements.
Added fall detection & animation change.
Optimization for interactives targetting.
Reduced item interaction distance.
Made the Settings menu accessible in-run. (so you can adjust the volume or mouse sensitivity without going back to Main Menu)
Hiding HUD when in Dialogue mode.
Introduced save file encryption.
Colliders fixes in Central Courtyard.
Patch 2.1.1-2.1.3
"Apply" button in the Settings menu now properly signalizes when there are changes to save and when not.
Added an audio effect on opening a readable note.
Fixed audio memory leaks, will monitor if they appear again.
Balance safeguard: now the first infected wave will not trigger the more tanky enemies.
Fixed a couple more bugs.
Navigation and pathfinding fixes.
Fixed some zombies being stuck on their spawn points.
