The HELL changes
Update 0.3.0-EA brings a big battlefield makeover. Soldiers and Sadists have been reworked, several key entities have been rebuilt, and one slip can now end your run instantly.
Let’s have a look!
Titan Escape
Stay aware or you might just lose the game instantly!
All Titans will now attempt to escape. To prevent this, you must use the Titan Choker to keep them restrained! Choking Titans drains your resources over time, so make sure your production can sustain it.
If you fail to keep the Titan at bay and it escapes, you lose the game instantly.
Unique Structures Reworks
Pandemonium, Necropolis, Dreadful Tree
These structures have been reworked to create a more streamlined city. Their mechanics now lean into Passive-like skills rather than constant activation, and research is more instant and snappy.
War System
Soldiers & Sadists: Fully Reworked
Soldiers and Sadists are no longer just “there” with no clear purpose.
They will now periodically clash and go to War.
During the War phase, different Soldier and Sadist units contribute to your side’s attributes: Health, Speed, Damage, and Critical Chance.
Health
The side that drops to 0 Health loses the War.
Speed
Dictates how fast attacks are performed. Higher Speed means damage is dealt more frequently.
Damage
The amount of damage dealt each time your side attacks.
Critical Chance
The chance for an attack to become a Critical Strike, doubling the damage for that hit.
If your Soldiers defeat the Sadists during the War phase, you’ll gain a buff that stacks infinitely: Spoils of War.
Gameplay Tweaks
Sinners no longer die. Objectives reworked and rebalanced.
Sinners still consume Goo, but they will no longer perish if you run out.
Instead, failing to supply enough Goo triggers a penalty: the production amount and production speed for ALL structures will drop.
This also means objectives that previously required you to “save” Sinners have been reworked to fit the new system.
That's it for the week folks! Stay tuned for more!
