Hi Everyone,

Please see today's hotfix notes below:

Hotfix (2026-03-05)

  • Tweaked the descriptions of certain magic-related proficiencies to make them clearer.

  • Added more instances to better reflect how spellcasters use their magic during the Story (also added missing gameplay bonuses where applicable). Currently, not all spellcasting methods are used in Chapters 1 and 2 because characters lack the respective tools. This will be further improved in an upcoming patch, focusing on Magic usage.

  • Fixed typos in proficiency and ability descriptions.

  • Tweaked the descriptions of several classes.

  • Fixed a bug causing druids to miss an important proficiency, which blocked their spells.

  • Fixed a rare bug causing the player to end up with -1 Intellect points to spend on proficiencies.

  • Remorseful is now a Challenging Personality Trait.

  • Characters now gain more skill increases if they invested points in the Learning skill (they receive higher values after every 10 points spent) – this is experimental, let's see how it turns out.

  • Characters with the Blind to Lessons trait have a much smaller skill increase if they fail or critically fail a skill check.

  • Added tooltips to highlight certain easily missed functionalities (such as the ability to view the character sheet during decision points or edit any section of the Character Creator by clicking the header of that section on the Character Sheet).

  • Fixed an issue where randomly rolling followers would give the player a mount even when they shouldn’t have one.

  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to have an infinite number of followers.

  • Fixed a bug where the player could select a follower even if they no longer had the Has Follower capability trait.

  • Fixed a bug where the player ended up with available Survival Proficiency points but no Survival Proficiency to spend them on.

  • Tweaked the scene where characters meet their followers to ensure it properly handles multiple followers.

  • Characters who disagree with a proposed idea and are Stubborn now apply a larger penalty to the Reasoning roll.

Cheers, Dice
