Changelog Demo v.1.1 – THE CURSOR UPDATE
Hey everyone!
We’ve just pushed a small update full of bug fixes, polish, and quality-of-life improvements for The Good Overlord demo.
Let’s go over it:
MAJOR FIXES
Fixes & Tweaks:
We rotated the cursor, now it points like a normal pointer would. We heard you. It happened. It was painful. Steam post image
Lava tiles now react more clearly when the hero steps on them.
Crossbows trajectory now don't make the game lag
Hero pathfinding has been improved to prevent him from getting stuck.
Several monster ability descriptions have been clarified.
Boss Fight:
Carmelo – Turns out the hero was very committed to grabbing coins, even mid-boss phasing. We fixed that.
MKUltra – Healing turrets no longer spawn on top of each other.
MINOR FIXES & POLISH
More sound effects have been added across the board.
Eden’s relic selection now gives clearer feedback when you select your relic.
Shadow fixes on Eden's shop, now it doesn't cover the bottom UI.
Keywords now appear even inside the bag when checking a monster data card
Some balance tweaks here and there.
New interactables have been added to the Overlord's office. Go poke around.
All UI buttons now jiggle while they're hovered over. Yes, it was important.
