Studio Rebranding - The End of the Sun Forge

Today we have extremely important but also incredibly exciting news for you!

Over the last few weeks, we have been preparing a rebranding of our studio, which we now want to share with you! We really recommend reading the entirety of this rather long message to find out what's next for our studio and what we have planned for you :)

Why Rebranding?

We should probably start with the studio's current name: "The End of the Sun Team" - derived, of course, from our first project, the game "The End of the Sun". The game itself, despite its mysterious atmosphere, is also accompanied by hope, the transformation of the characters, but above all, the joy of experiencing life. However, it was always obvious to us that we want to create games that bring joy and are not bound to any specific genre or universe. The name "The End of the Sun Team", at first glance, might have seemed quite dark and pessimistic.

Due to many life events that happened to us after the game's premiere (which we will probably tell you about in the future - see below :)), the reorganization of our work, but also many changes in the world, we decided that in order not to lose the considerable recognition associated with the previous name, we are only changing the word "Team" to "Forge". Thus, from today onwards, our creations will be signed with the name "The End of the Sun Forge".

Above all, rebranding allows us to bring in new energy and open ourselves up to a new, better future created together with you!

Thank you for being with us during this difficult time! Every purchased game and every review is motivation and new opportunities for us to create games that bring joy and turn gloomy days into ones full of light!

The End of the Sun Forge - a small big change:

The word "Forge" changes the current name, which might have been associated with something dark, the end, and aggressive flames. A "Forge" gives hope and introduces creative joy. Additionally, it is meant to symbolize the transformation of the difficult days and times we are currently experiencing in the world into something full of joy. It symbolizes that there is a way out of every situation, even the worst one, and that unity, freedom, love, and the joy of creating something new are the path leading to a better world.

What kind of games can you expect now?

We live in a world that is changing faster than ever, which is why you can expect any genre of games from us, both adventure and story-driven, as well as strategy or even crafting and co-op. We might surprise you with games in a comedic or travel vibe, but also mysterious and darker ones. It's also possible that we will focus on smaller games that are cheaper to produce, which also means a lower price for you. However, they will all have a common denominator: Joy and having a great time!

We don't want to be limited by form, we want to experiment, but we also don't rule out continuing our current series!

What about The End of the Sun universe?

We will have a nice surprise for you soon :) regarding this topic! Follow our profiles! Not only fans of the Slavic world of The End of the Sun and its great story will be pleased, but also fans of strategy and resources and time management games.

Additionally, after the game's console premiere, you can expect a game update crowning the work on The End of the Sun, which will likely include a completely new game mode for fans of open-air museums, history, but also those curious about the game's production. A new game pack containing longer video footage and so-called developer diaries is also highly probable.

To celebrate this change, we painted our logo in a large format using paints and traditional techniques. In times when artificial intelligence is beginning to dominate graphics, such a painting reminds us of what art truly is. :)

Logo and Name - Information for the Curious :)

The studio name is rooted in the belief that every fiery twilight creates the sparks of a new dawn. It is here, driven by artistic passion, that we forge stories and artworks filled with light, proving that creativity is a powerful force for positive change.

Colors: The white in the logo symbolizes the power of nature (community), while the gold represents creative power (individuality). These two forces, working together in harmony, make the world full of colors, experiences, and joy.

The symbolism presents the creator / artist in a divine forge, transforming the powerful energy of an apparent end into a beautiful world through the symbolic golden bird Rarog (which you can learn more about by playing The End of the Sun).
