Literally a few days ago, the astronomical summer solstice took place. On this shortest night in Slavic culture, Kupala Night is celebrated, which is the solstice holiday or, as it was called even earlier, "Słońcakres" (Sun's end). (Hence one of the meanings of the game's title - "The End of the Sun", which is the shortest night, after which the sun begins to lose to the darkness. The game title has a few more hidden meanings, but you can discover them yourself in the game :)
The solstice holiday is full of dancing, joy, fun, and fortune-telling. The most famous one, however, is throwing wreaths into the water. Young girls throw wreaths into the river current, and a bit further down, young men try to catch them from the rushing current. According to the fortune-telling, the one who catches the wreath is destined for the girl.
